Go Jacks!

This weekend was Mommy's 10 year class reunion.
Emma's KK made her a cheerleader outfit to wear to the festivities.
She was too cute!

Emma stopped by to see her Nana at her classroom
in the new high school. Her students oohed and ahhed over Emma!

We've got spirit yes we do!
Daddy and Emma were all smiles after
the pep rally in the new high school gym.
Emma was so good.
Even with all of the loud cheering and music, she
was a happy camper. She actually tool a nap in the middle of it all!

5 Months Old

Emma tried rice cereal for the first time just after
her 5 month birthday. She was very interested in
looking at the spoon and trying to hold it.
At first she just blew on the spoon, then she
got the hang of it. I think we were pretty successful
since we got more in her mouth than on the bib!

Now that Emma is 5 months old, she's able to
sit in her exersaucer without sinking down!
She really enjoys the lights and music.

Emma LOVES her feet!
She pulls them up to her mouth now and
sucks on them with and without socks!
It is so funny to watch her new tricks!

Labor Day Fun

Over Labor Day weekend we got to spend some time
playing with cousin Austin, Aunt Lacey, Uncle Zach,
Nana and Pawpaw.

Go Tigers!

Emma got to wear her LSU outfit
as we cheered for the Tigers during
their first game on Saturday.
Jason and I bought this outfit after our
ultrasound when we found out we were having a girl.
It is so much fun to finally see our
sweet baby girl wearing it!
The picture doesn't show, but the outfit
has purple bloomers with gold ruffles.
Too cute!

Weekend in Dallas

This weekend we went to Dallas to spend
the weekend at cousin Austin's house.
Mommy, Aunt Lacey, and Nana had fun
shopping for toys and baby clothes,
while Daddy, Pawpaw, and Uncle Zach
got to hang out and play with Emma and Austin.

Kickin' Bobbin' Gym

Emma got a new toy last week. She is always moving and
kicking her legs, so I searched for a toy that she could kick.
There is a soft ball hanging down that she can kick to make the bear's
head move, nose light up, and music play.
A huge grin comes over her face when she hears it!
She also enjoys grabbing onto the little dangling toys.

New Discoveries

Emma has taken an interest in grabbing her feet.
She has always seemed interested in looking at her feet while
wearing socks, but here lately she has really enjoyed
grabbing and holding onto them with or without socks.
She also recently began looking at her hands more intently
and wiggling her fingers. It is so much fun to watch her make new discoveries.
If only we knew what she was thinking!

Team Spirit

Although our beloved Braves aren't doing as well
as we'd hope, we remain loyal fans.
Emma enjoyed sporting her t-shirt that her Daddy bought for her
last year before we knew she was a little girl.
Mommy decided to dress the outfit up with a headband!
Too cute!
Play ball!

Saturday Mornings with Daddy

We love Saturday mornings because
we get to sleep in and spend time with Daddy.
Emma thought it was funny to sit on the table
while Daddy helped her sit up.
