Almost over

Emma surprised me one day while I was changing her diaper;

she rolled over onto her side!

We are still practicing getting all of the way over.

Now anytime I put her on her back, she rolls to her side.

We're just watching and waiting...

it could be any day now!

3 months old

On July 4th Emma turned 3 months old!

It is hard to believe how fast she is growing

and how many new things she is starting to do.

The latest big accomplishment is holding up her head.

Rub a dub dub

Emma and her Daddy were having too much fun 

during bath time that I had to catch it on video.

This was the most we had ever heard her laugh out loud.

 It was hilarious!

She loves to take baths and kick her legs in the water.

4th of July

Over 4th of July weekend Emma took her first vacation.

We went with Jason's family to Mena Arkansas

and explored the hills of the Ouachita

National forest. 

Emma enjoyed spending time with her cousin Austin.

Emma seems to do something new every day.

Just this week we found her holding her paci in her hand.

She seemed to enjoy it so much I tried to find other

baby friendly items she could hold.

These rings from her tummy time mat were the perfect fit!

Emma loves to lay in her changing table. 

She seems to put on some of her best "shows"

cooing, smiling, and laughing there.

I was able to catch one of our

changing table conversations on video.

Aunt Lacey and I took Austin and Emma

for their first professional shoot together.

Unfortunately it was close to Emma's nap time, 

so she didn't feel like smiling. We did however

get some cute shots. The pacifier one turned out to be 

one of our favorites surprisingly, since both

Austin and Emma were ready to be done by that point!
