St. Patrick's Day at the Park
On St. Patrick's day Emma and I went with my friend Kari and her little girl Kyleigh
to play at the duck pond. The girls had so much fun playing together and looked
so cute in their matching green.

ABC's
Emma shocked us the other morning at breakfast when she started saying the abc's!
I think it has to do with her obsession with watching Elmo and India sing the abc
song on U-tube and her Leap Frog Fridge Phonics toy.
She has always liked the ABC song, this was just the first time we'd heard her
say it unprompted and without help! Wow!
Yes Uncle Zach, I do realize she skipped a few letters, but we are working on that! ;)
But at 22 months old, this was quit an accomplishment!
Winter Wonder Land
Once again I have let too much time pass since my last post.
I apologize! Here are some of my favorite pictures from January and February.
In case you didn't know it, Emma is a little character.
She is constantly cracking us up and amazing us at the same time.
She loves to wear gloves, mittens, socks, and wrist bands on her hands!
In the morning when we get her out of bed, she usually has taken one sock off and put it on her hand. So silly! She also loves to wear hooded towels around the house after bath time; she calls it her hat. I guess we'll have to invest in some dress up clothes for her birthday!

Cookie Time!
One of our favorite things to do at Christmas time is
bake Christmas cookies. This year was extra special
because Emma got to help!

Christmas time is here!
This month has already been full of fun!
Emma has enjoyed looking at all of
the decorations and has done very well "just looking."
She had fun making a gingerbread house with her KK,
going to look at Christmas lights at Rose Land, and of course
wearing all of her cute Christmas outfits!
I think my favorite thing so far is to hear her say,
"Happy Birthday Baby Jesus"
It is the sweetest thing ever!!!
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!

Busy Bee!
This was Emma's first Halloween that she actually
got to trick or treat. She loved being outside of course!
We went in our neighborhood to see a few
neighbors before heading to Springhill to help
Nana and Pawpaw hand out candy.
She had lots of fun!

Peanut Butter Picnic
It is still funny to me sometimes to watch Emma
eat "big people food." She now has 10 teeth,
so she doesn't have to have everything cut
up for her. She LOVES peanut butter
sandwiches! I haven't tried jelly yet,
the peanut butter is messy enough by
itself!!! On this particular day
it felt better outside, so we enjoyed a
nice picnic on the front porch.
Play Date
Emma had her first trip to a park this week.
A group of moms from MOPS got together
for a play date. The weather was perfect!
After all of the rain we've been having, it
was nice to get out and play in the sunshine.
Emma LOVED it!!!
She loves to climb the stairs at home, but can only go
if Jason or I help her up. But the play set at
the park had stairs that were just her size so she
could go up and down all by herself.
What a big girl!
