Saturday Mornings with Daddy

We love Saturday mornings because

we get to sleep in and spend time with Daddy.

Emma thought it was funny to sit on the table

 while Daddy helped her sit up.

Bunny Love

Emma just loves her bunny teether/rattle.

It's a good thing we have two!

Although it's "paws" are meant for teething, Emma prefers it's ears!

It takes no time for them to get soggy, wet, and droopy.

I fondly call him "Leo the Lop" after the book character

my Mam-ma Nona used to read to me. 

4 Months Old

After rolling over for the first time, Emma was all smiles!

Hmm... how can I fit the ring, keys, and blanket in my mouth?

Emma is now putting everything she can hold onto into her mouth!

Who me?

At Emma's 4 month check up she weighed 14 lbs 5 ozs

and measured 26 inches long!

Rolly Polly

Emma rolled all the way over from her back to her tummy

for the first time July 31st, just before she turned 4 months old.

Now any time I put her down she starts trying to roll over!

As soon as she rolls over she gets her legs going

like she's trying to crawl!

We can't believe how fast she is growing!

Fresh and Clean

Emma was too cute in her turtle hooded towel

after her bath that I had to snap a few shots!

Almost over

Emma surprised me one day while I was changing her diaper;

she rolled over onto her side!

We are still practicing getting all of the way over.

Now anytime I put her on her back, she rolls to her side.

We're just watching and waiting...

it could be any day now!

Austin's Bumbo.

3 months old

On July 4th Emma turned 3 months old!

It is hard to believe how fast she is growing

and how many new things she is starting to do.

The latest big accomplishment is holding up her head.

Rub a dub dub

Emma and her Daddy were having too much fun 

during bath time that I had to catch it on video.

This was the most we had ever heard her laugh out loud.

 It was hilarious!

She loves to take baths and kick her legs in the water.

4th of July

Over 4th of July weekend Emma took her first vacation.

We went with Jason's family to Mena Arkansas

and explored the hills of the Ouachita

National forest. 

Emma enjoyed spending time with her cousin Austin.
